PICTURE THIS!
PICTURE THIS!
PICTURE THIS! is a new show from Brandie Posey & Sam Varela: two girls who want to push the boundaries of what a comedy show can be. Picture This! is a live comedy show with stand-ups, voice actors and more performing while they are drawn live by some of the best animators, cartoonists, and other artists in the biz! The comedians don’t know what the animators are drawing and the animators don’t know how the comedians will react.

It may be weird. It may different. But it will be FUNNY!

Picture This! has been going on monthly for over 4 years in Los Angeles with both the regular monthly show and special sponsored shows with sponsors like Bento Box Entertainment, Comedy Central’s Brickleberry, Adult Swim’s Mr. Pickles, Netflix’s BoJack Horseman, Cartoon Network and more! The show also has franchised monthly shows in New York, San Francisco and Portland. The show has also debuted in Denver, New Orleans, Indiana, Iowa, Toronto as we'll as at numerous festivals.
Joey Devine
Joey Devine
Joey Devine is from the San Francisco Bay Area. He is the the head writer for Yahoo.com’s “Broken News Daily,” and you may recognize him from a McDonald’s commercial that airs on IFC during Portlandia reruns sometimes. If you’ve ever been to the San Francisco Punchline, Cobb’s Comedy Club, or his weekly show “Move Along Nothing To See Here: A Free Comedy Show” at The Night Light in Oakland, you might have seen him do stand up before. He’s pretty good at it or whatever.
Kate Willett
Kate Willett
Kate Willett is a comedian, actress, and writer whose raunchy feminist storytelling is both smart and relatable. She has been featured on Viceland’s FLOPHOUSE and her appearance on Comedy Central’s THIS IS NOT HAPPENING was on Splitsider’s list of “2016’s Best Late Night Standup Sets.” In the past, she toured with Margaret Cho nationally and internationally and has featured with comedians like Kyle Kinane, Jen Kirkman, Ali Wong, Dana Gould, and Greg Behrendt.

She has appeared in the Just for Laughs Montreal Comedy Festival, Limestone Comedy Festival, High Plains, Big Sky Festival, Bridgetown Comedy Festival, San Francisco Sketchfest (5 years in a row), and most recently Laughing Skull. Earlier this year she was a “Comic to Watch” at the LA RIOT festival.

She will next be seen on Season 2 of NIGHT TRAIN WITH WYATT CENAC for Seeso. Her comedy album “Glass Gutter” will be released on May 26.

“Kate Willett is a woman on the rise. Willett achieves a perfect blend of smart and filthy when she takes the stage.” –SF Weekly

“As my opener, she buried me! Fortunately we were performing in a mortuary.” — Kyle Kinane
Matt Lieb
Matt Lieb
Lieb is a comedian, writer, actor and street musician/Bone Thugs-N-Harmony cover band. He was named "one of my all-time favorite Bay Area performers" by the award-winning SF blog Courting Comedy and, in that same post, described as "extremely talented, charmingly dark and genuinely pleasant". Matt Lieb was the winner of the 2004 KZSC Comedy Competition, has performed with Brent Weinbach, Moshe Kasher, Mary Van Note, Ronna & Beverly and has opened for W. Kamau Bell, Jasper Redd and San Francisco's premier sketch comedy troupe Killing My Lobster. His jokes have been featured on Rooftopcomedy.com and Reddit.com, and even reached the front page of Reddit with a submission to r/standupshots. He has also performed at the Los Angeles Comedy Festival, and has been selected to perform at this years S.H.I.T.S & Giggles Comedy Festival in Arcata, California.
David Gborie
David Gborie
David Gborie was born on May 5th, 1987, and was raised in the Seattle Metro area where he honed his comedic talents. At an early age, it became apparent that David's ability to Ball, his Ballaptitude, as it were, would be out of control, and it was then that he knew he would be an incredible baller. David spent his formative years in Colorado, where he was running the 303 ragged, and, in general, fucking all manner of shit up. In early 2010, David moved westward with a dream, a pocketful of jokes, and the sassiest mouth this side of the Mississippi. He now lives in the Bay Area, where you can catch him telling jokes and wrecking faces all around.
Ben Walker-Storey
Ben Walker-Storey
Ben Walker-Storey is a San Francisco-based Illustrator, Apparel Designer and Cartoonist known mainly for his paintings of bears with guns, jackalopes, and other weird Western stuff.

Walker-Storey has managed to jam his Chuck Taylor into the door of the comedy world by creating show posters and original portraits for the legendary Cobb's Comedy Club, animating for the Adam Carolla Show, and just getting in front of microphones around San Francisco. Ben is Art Director and Co-producer of the San Francisco branch of Picture This! at Doc's Lab. And check out his new after-show Deal Killer, a cartoon-driven comedy game show about dating and relationships.

Sean Keeton
Sean Keeton
I'm a game artist at SEGA/Three Rings where I design, model, texture, and animate 3D assets in Maya and 3ds Max and design and animate 2D game assets in Flash and Photoshop. My independent animated shorts have been featured on the Nicktoons Channel, in Stash DVD Magazine, on Channel Frederator, and screened at various festivals. In my free time I paint and make the comic "Panic Attack!". I also like to swim and play guitar.
