It Came From SF Sketchfest
It Came From SF Sketchfest
"SF Sketchfest teams up with comedy curator Jeff Zamaria (Learn From Me Comedy) to bring you a brand new monthly showcase of stand-up, sketch, characters and more at Doc’s Lab, formerly the historic Purple Onion in North Beach. The shows will (mostly) take place on the second Thursday of each month.
Zack Chapaloni
Zack Chapaloni
Zack’s first performance was a solo rendition of “I’ve Been Workin on the Railroad” in the 3rd grade. He killed. And though there wasn’t a dry eye nor dry pair of pants in the house, Zack craved something more. Nine years later he performed impressions of teachers at his High School Pasta Dinner. Again, the crowd was completely drenched in liquid remnants of overwhelming astonishment (some say it was the pasta). Three years later, he tried stand-up. I’ll give you one guess; Friggin’ obliterated. Then he left home to grow weed with his father... turned out Zack wasn’t great at everything. So he returned to San Francisco to pursue stand-up - and to go to college so his mom would stop crying.

While in college, Zack was a semi-finalist in the TBS National Comedy Competition and runner-up in the Central Valley Comedy Competition. He has since established himself as a prominent comedian in The Bay Area. He is a regular at San Francisco’s Punchline and Cobb’s, and has performed at Tommy T’s, and The Westside Comedy Theater in LA. Zack co-wrote and starred as “Todd Olsen” in the Metacafe series “PausePlay”, and has opened for David Huntsberger, Clinton Jackson and Baron Vaughn.
Naptime
Naptime
Naptime is a Bay Area-based sketch comedy team whose shows weave together live performances, videos, and surprising surprises to delight audiences whether they like it or not. Born out of SF's own Endgames Improv community, Naptime has performed at SF Sketchfest, the Sonoma Laughfest, Austin’s Out of Bounds Comedy Festival, and more.
Natasha Muse
Natasha Muse
Natasha Muse is the C3P0 of San Francisco comedy: she's been mistaken for a golden god but in reality she's a bumbling gay robot. SF Weekly declared her the "Funniest Tranny in SF." She's a member of the stand-up collective the Business; has been in such comedy festivals as the SF Sketchfest and Bridgetown; and is a regular at the SF Punchline, Cobb's Comedy Club and Doc's Lab.
Natasha's comedy is so good it's not even funny.
Joseph Nguyen
Joseph Nguyen
Subtle but sharp, laid-back yet engaging, Joe Nguyen is the smart slacker beloved by audiences for his easygoing delivery and well-written jokes. Raised in the state of Georgia by immigrants of Vietnamese and Jewish descent, Joe was destined to become a stand-up comedian. His unique perspective and likeable stage presence have made him a favorite at clubs, colleges, niche shows and private events throughout the country.

Joe is a regular at the Punch Line in San Francisco and Sacramento, Cobb’s Comedy Club in SF and Rooster T. Feathers in Sunnyvale. He won the 2009 Russian River Comedy Competition and has been featured on KOFY TV in the Bay Area. Joe tours nationally with the Mahatma Moses Comedy Tour and was featured in the Kung Pao Kosher Comedy show.
Chris Riggins
Chris Riggins
Chris Riggins has taken the art of stand up comedy and chose to stand out amongst a sea of other talented artists. From producing unique shows such as the Outdoor Comedy Club, opening for Dave Chappelle his first time on stage, to featuring and headlining at major clubs and colleges throughout the United States, the sky is truly the limit for Chris.

While a unique take on growing up in the Bay Area and finding humor in the struggle are the centerpiece of Chris’ act, he is relatable to people from all walks of life.
Aviva Siegel
Aviva Siegel
Aviva is a stand-up comic by day, and a stand-up comic by night. Her jokes are silly (clown horn sound) yet personal (awooga), and she really just wants to have fun up there. She lives in Oakland and produces shows like “Talkies” at The Roxie and Witches’ Brew at Black Hammer Brewing. Her comedy’s been featured in SF Sketchfest, The Nevada City Film Festival, Heeb Magazine, and on NPR.
Richard Sarvate
Richard Sarvate
Richard Sarvate grew up in the Bay Area to parents of Indian immigrants. His last name sounds Mexican because it was butchered during an immigration debacle. He spent 10 years working as a programmer before deciding to throw off the shackles of corporate life. Now he spends his nights on stage poking fun at his previous career. His jokes range from an impression of a GPS for insecure men to deep and introspective subjects like his mother's schizophrenia. He's a regular host at the San Francisco Punch Line, he's written sketches with Don Novello from SNL, and he recently completed a 20 show tour of India.
