Alex Hooper
Alex Hooper
Alex Hooper was born in Baltimore, MD so he was pretty much effed from the start. He moved to LA in 2009 and began doing stand up. Having toured all over, he has become known for his clever writing, fearless style, rampant energy, and sickeningly positive attitude. Alex is most notably known from his work on Comedy Central's Roast Battle 2, New Girl, Hot in Cleveland, Nickelodeon, and most importantly, The Bad Girls Club. Funny Or Die named him one of the 15 Funniest Comics to Follow. Good Deed Seats included him in their list of The 40 Best Up And Coming Comedians Today. He also produces his own show CRAVE, which was listed as one of LA Weekly's Best of 2013 and has also been written up by The LA Times and Thrillist.

"The word ‘innovative’ is typically over used in the bay area, in this case it actually applies. ‘DJ Real‘ uses a combination of technology and sound that keeps you laughing while at the same time wondering ‘how is he doing that?" - www.brokeassstuart.com

"...DJ REAL was a very strange, and strangely wonderful combination of lo-fi recording artist and Andy Kaufman comedian..." - SF Weekly
Chad Opitz

Feathers Competition, 2nd place finalist at the 2016 Sacramento Comedy Competition and 1st place winner of the Walk the Plank comedy competition, beating out 100 comics for the top prize.
