I Think I'd Be Good At That
Five of the Bay Area's best comedians help one person who has always wanted to do standup get onstage. With the help of experienced comics, one person will learn how to write material, perform jokes and do it all in front of an audience. Come see this one-of-a-kind show that could be glorious...or terrifying.
Drew Harmon
Drew Harmon
Drew Harmon is a standup comedian and former TV Weatherman in San Francisco. Drew began doing standup in the Midwest before moving to San Francisco, where he works at clubs like the Punch Line, Doc’s Lab and more. Drew has also appeared as part of comedy festivals at SF Sketchfest, Gilda’s Laughfest in Grand Rapids, Michigan and Laugh Your Asheville Off in North Carolina. Drew has also worked with Jimmy Pardo, The Nightly Show’s Ricky Velez, Owen Benjamin and more.
Ash Fisher
Ash Fisher
Ash Fisher is a comedian, actor and writer. She is not a comedienne, an actress or a writeress. She co-hosts the popular Oakland comedy show "Man Haters," recently named Best Comedy Show by East Bay Express. She was Newcomer Runner-Up in NYC's Ladies of Laughter Festival at Gotham Comedy Club, won the Oakland Storytelling Showdown, twice won the SF Shipwreck Erotic Fan Fiction Competition, and performed in San Francisco Sketchfest 2016 and 2017. She writes for Wear Your Voice Mag and has been published in The Huffington Post and The Advocate. Sometimes people hire her for voiceovers and illustration, which is very nice. Ash has a B.F.A. in Theatre from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, and Sallie Mae will never let her forget it.
Jesse Hett
Jesse Hett
Jesse Hett was born in a town called Newton, Kansas. After that, he learned to walk and talk and ride a bike and do a bunch of other stuff. He also moved to a lot of different places, and now lives in Oakland, California. His comedy has been described as “Really great” by a lot of people and “Not really that great” by fewer people. Jesse performs at clubs and colleges and warehouses and furniture stores and bars all over the place.
Mean Dave
Mean Dave
Mean Dave is a Californian comedian from the SF Bay Area with a rock and roll style for any occasion or function. Starting with a background in music, Mean Dave was a musician of many years who found he was a comedian the way Happy Gilmore thought he was a hockey player who found himself to be a golfer. With a manic, intelligent approach to material about modern day life, you will be thoroughly entertained with clean-to-adult humor about a variety of subjects. Mean Dave has performed regularly at San Jose Improv, San Francisco Punchline, LA Comedy Store, Tommy T's in Pleasanton and all kinds of shows and events all over.
Sam DiSalvo
Sam DiSalvo
Sam DiSalvo is a Reno-bred, Bay Area-based comedian. She got her start performing improv with the best (and only) Reno improv troupe at the time. She then began doing standup in the Biggest Little City and won a keg of beer for telling Dilbert jokes. With this accolade under her belt, she moved to San Francisco and now performs all over the Bay. Sam's comedy features hilariously uncomfortable anecdotes, confessions and observations. All of her dick jokes are highly intellectual. She has been called "brave" by her coworkers and "maybe too honest" by her mother.

Sam produces four successful shows in San Francisco. She runs the monthly standup show More Fun at Blondie's with her friends and fellow comics Priyanka Wali and Mark Shrayber in SF's Mission District. Comedian Michael Taylor and Sam host Shame at the Hotel Utah Saloon where comics tell funny stories of their most humiliating moments. She helps produce This Week's Show at Fort 1 in San Francisco every Wednesday. In addition, she and comic Mikey Walz run a monthly nostalgia show at PianoFight called TGIF'd that takes old sitcoms, puts them on mute and has comics improvise new lines for the characters. The show also features trivia with prizes for audience members. All of these shows have been known to have intermittent dance parties.
Mikey Walz
Mikey Walz
Mikey Walz is a Stand-Up Comic, writer and musician out of San Francisco CA. The son of a Jingle writing ex-folk singer father and a late-blooming lesbian psychologist mother, he developed a strange, quizzical, and occasionally musical brand of thinking. His style oscillates between playful and theatrical, skating between silly and mildly troubled. He's obsessed with dinosaurs, but never talks about it onstage. He has been known to make delicious casseroles, but is fairly humble about it. He loves you and he always will.
