PICTURE THIS!
PICTURE THIS! is a new show from Brandie Posey & Sam Varela: two girls who want to push the boundaries of what a comedy show can be. Picture This! is a live comedy show with stand-ups, voice actors and more performing while they are drawn live by some of the best animators, cartoonists, and other artists in the biz! The comedians don’t know what the animators are drawing and the animators don’t know how the comedians will react.

It may be weird. It may different. But it will be FUNNY!

Picture This! has been going on monthly for over 4 years in Los Angeles with both the regular monthly show and special sponsored shows with sponsors like Bento Box Entertainment, Comedy Central’s Brickleberry, Adult Swim’s Mr. Pickles, Netflix’s BoJack Horseman, Cartoon Network and more! The show also has franchised monthly shows in New York, San Francisco and Portland. The show has also debuted in Denver, New Orleans, Indiana, Iowa, Toronto as we'll as at numerous festivals.
Joey Devine
Joey Devine
Joey Devine is from the San Francisco Bay Area. He is the the head writer for Yahoo.com’s “Broken News Daily,” and you may recognize him from a McDonald’s commercial that airs on IFC during Portlandia reruns sometimes. If you’ve ever been to the San Francisco Punchline, Cobb’s Comedy Club, or his weekly show “Move Along Nothing To See Here: A Free Comedy Show” at The Night Light in Oakland, you might have seen him do stand up before. He’s pretty good at it or whatever.
Josef Anolin
Josef Anolin
Josef Anolin is a premier, up-and-coming performer boasting verve and nerve where “Def” meets deft. Josef reflects an eclectic appeal; a product of his melting pot, Bay Area upbringing and Filipino/Japanese American heritage. Onstage he’s known for on-point punditry, stylish substance and a palpable, affable freshness.

His humor has been described as, “incredulously profound while simultaneously embodying a playful deviousness. Challenging one stereotype or social norm one moment, to championing another with a faux willful ignorance the next.”

He currently co-produces 2 awesome monthly shows in San Francisco: "Live At Deluxe" & "Haters Gonna Hate" and if you'd like can be followed on social media sites @josefanolin
Drew Platt
Drew Platt
DREW PLATT IS A STANDUP COMIC FROM SOUTH MISSISSIPPI WHO STARTED DOING COMEDY IN NEW ORLEANS. AFTER DOING SEVERAL FESTIVALS IN THE SOUTH INCLUDING SXSW AND FUN, FUN, FUN FEST HE MOVED TO SAN FRANCISCO WHERE HE'S PERFORMED AT SOME OF THE COUNTRIES BEST COMEDY CLUBS, INCLUDING THE PUNCH LINE, COBB'S COMEDY CLUB AND DOC'S LAB. DREW HAS OPENED FOR COMEDIANS SUCH AS LOUIS C.K., SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE'S DARRELL HAMMOND, DAVID ALAN GRIER AND MANY MORE.
Allison Mick
Allison Mick
Allison Mick is an Oakland-based comedian originally from Rochester, NY. Her comedy tackles topics like race, gender, and fast food, and can be seen monthly as part of the Vice Principals of Comedy showcases in San Francisco. She’s been written about on earmilk.com and has performed in such prestigious festivals as the S.H.I.T.s and Giggles Comedy Festival in Humboldt County, California and will be taking part in SF Sketchfest in San Francisco in 2015.
Jesse Hett
Jesse Hett
Jesse Hett was born in a town called Newton, Kansas. After that, he learned to walk and talk and ride a bike and do a bunch of other stuff. He also moved to a lot of different places, and now lives in Oakland, California. His comedy has been described as “Really great” by a lot of people and “Not really that great” by fewer people. Jesse performs at clubs and colleges and warehouses and furniture stores and bars all over the place.
Francesca Fiorentini
Francesca Fiorentini
Francesca Fiorentini is a journalist, comedy writer, and performer. She is a host and producer with AJ+, the online channel of Al Jazeera Media Network. As a stand up comic Francesca has performed around the Bay Area including at the Punchline Showcase, Cobb's Comedy Showcase, and at the Comedy Comedy Festival in Los Angeles. She has worked in alternative media since 2004 as an editor with War Resisters League and with Left Turn Magazine.
Liz Grant
Liz Grant
She mixes smart and silly. There are characters and creatures (including herself during the six years she was a meth addict/alcoholic in the “formative years”).

Liz is grateful to have been born to her then impoverished, hippie parents (“I raised them myself”) because they taught her to “think outside the circle”. Amid all the family chaos, they took her to many creative happenings including puppet shows by weirdos. Her imagination was fired.
Andy Garcia
Andy Garcia
Andy moved to the Bay Area from Reno, NV, the birth place of his comedy career. His sardonic comedy can be seen at clubs and colleges all over the world. Andy likes to create a juxtaposition of life between Reno and anywhere he performs while surviving the mandatory meth habit Reno imposes on it's citizens. Andy has won marginal comedy awards that were judged by friends and colleagues and continues to perform all over the world.
Ben Walker-Storey
Ben Walker-Storey
Ben Walker-Storey is a San Francisco-based Illustrator, Apparel Designer and Cartoonist known mainly for his paintings of bears with guns, jackalopes, and other weird Western stuff.

Walker-Storey has managed to jam his Chuck Taylor into the door of the comedy world by creating show posters and original portraits for the legendary Cobb's Comedy Club, animating for the Adam Carolla Show, and just getting in front of microphones around San Francisco. Ben is Art Director and Co-producer of the San Francisco branch of Picture This! at Doc's Lab. And check out his new after-show Deal Killer, a cartoon-driven comedy game show about dating and relationships.

Nigel Sussman
Nigel Sussman
Nigel draws a lot. When he is not painting walls or drawing complex isometric creations, Nigel enjoys eating good food, cooking, playing and listening to music, building things, exploring and urban hiking. He grew up in Maryland, but drove to California to pursue an illustration BA from California College of the Arts and never looked back. His current work is intricate and whimsical and reflects his passion for food, animals, and the complexity of elaborate machines and urban environments. Typical mediums are micron pens on paper, acrylic paints on canvas, house paint on walls, or digitally with a tablet. Nigel draws almost every day in an always identical 7×10″ wire-bound sketchbook, and documents the best of the books in his blog which has over 1000 scans of ink drawings. He currently lives and works in Berkeley, California with his wife, Yasemin, and cat, Fidel.
