Mick Betancourt is a comedian and storyteller. This show is a narrative about growing up the son of a bank robbing mother in Chicago to now raising children of his own amidst the beautiful madness.

Mick is an American screenwriter, producer, comedian, actor, and director who has written scripts for several television series on major networks, including Chicago Fire, The Mob Doctor, Chicago P.D., and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.

Betancourt was born in Chicago and currently lives in Los Angeles. He sold his first television series to CBS at age 30 and has since written on Breakout Kings, The Black Donnellys, and Detroit 187.

He directed his first short film in 2008, No Place Like Home, which was well received at independent film festivals. Betancourt has performed as a comedian at the Chicago and Montreal Comedy Festivals, and has performed stand-up on channels such as NBC, HBO, TBS, and Comedy Central. He was featured in Studs Terkel's book Death-Will the Circle Be Unbroken.

Laura House is a comic, writer, and meditation teacher—tale as old as time! She started as a 7th grade teacher by day, and stand-up comic at night in Austin, TX, then was quickly tapped to star in Mtv’s first fully-scripted sit-com, Austin Stories.

She’s gone on to write for lots of TV shows, including Blue Collar TV, The George Lopez Show, The Emmy-winning Samantha Who?, and Mom (starring Anna Faris & Allison Janney). She’s created and Executive-Produced a pilot for Nickelodeon and has had projects in development at ABC (with Barry Sonnenfeld directing) and Fx (with Katey Sagal producing).

Laura is a favorite comic and story-teller around Los Angeles, performing at Write Club, Flappers, and the Improv. She’s performed on HBO, NBC and Comedy Central, and appeared opposite Natalie Portman in the film Where the Heart is. She’s a contributor to Comedy Film Nerds, and can be heard regularly on The David Feldman podcast and radio show (where she’s currently co-hosting with Jerry Stahl). She has works in several books, including the well-reviewed True Tales of Lust and Love and recently obtained a publisher for her own memoir of personal essays.

Greg Asdourian
Greg is a native San Francisco Bay Area entertainer. Born in the heart of San Francisco and now residing out in the East Bay. He has been performing his relatable, endearing, and self-deprecating, brand of comedy since the age of 17, all over the West Coast, at Colleges, Clubs, and Casinos.

He has been called "one of the best new comics in San Francisco. Greg Asdourian is a hilarious individual" (Casey Ley, PirateCat Radio). "Greg Asdourian is hilarious!" (Sam Hurwitt, East Bay Express). Greg's stage time isn't limited to comedy. He is also a professional stage actor. Having done Shakespeare in the park to most recently starring in the West Coast Premiere of 'Evil Dead: The Musical' with the Willows Theatre Company.
